It was my mistake reading 48 as being the width and although I see I'm not the first one to do that, I can't fault anyone for that mistake even though the unit is absurdly small and won't be good for much in my house. However, the item pictured (sleek black with the middle pattern and flush flooring) isn't what I was shipped, I got a similar but very cheap looking alternative. Seriously, it looks like sections of packing palettes re-purposed as cheap shelving, as ugly and workshop fodder as you could imagine. I do not approve of this ugly, incorrectly advertised item, nor do I approve of the price, which is over double what the item is worth. I'm usually very pleased with my Amazon purchases but this one was a gigantic dud. It gets 2 stars because it is solid, but then, for it not to be solid it would have to be made of substandard, easily breakable materials, and with plastics there is no point in trying to skimp on load bearing strength -- you don't save any money and you risk bad publicity.

Cuisinart 6-Piece Master Grill Tool Set
I purchased this set and had a question on how to change the head on the Cleaning Brush. I e-mailed my inquiry from Cusinart's website. Next morning I got a phone message to call Acme. This I did. They knew nothing about the tool set. I called Cuisinant's customer relations dept. They didn't even know it was on sale from their web site. 5 phone calls later to various phone numbers and departments I gave up.
The last call I made was back to the customer relations department where I asked to speak with a supervisor. I was told that I couldn't but I would be tranfered to the kitchen gadget department and I would get help there.
You guessed it, I was back speaking to the nice lady at Acme.

All you really need is a 6 piece set. Some have 30. Cool. This set is the master of grill sets. Very durable and easy to clean. The spatula does come with a bottle opener. That was a question I had. Nice big hefty set. Kinda flimsy case but not too bad.

They are large and high quality (almost too large). The tongs are interesting with the integrated sauce ladle. I think I would prefer the standard design and will probably buy a separate tong. No thermometer in the fork. Probably will get one of those also. Nice value for sure though. Very classy.

The quality of the umbrella itself was good for the price. The mechanism for opening leaves a lot to be desired. The way it tilts at the end of the cranking is already broken, and jambs constantly. A manual button tilt would have been much better. Dont buy this unit for the tilting option.

I live in the mountains in Southwest Colorado (High Desert).

In the past five years I have spent a couple of thousand dollars on "throw-away" umbrellas. I stopped paying more than $29.00 for an umbrella until I found this one.

In the afternoons, we have thunderstorms here that crop up in a matter of seconds. The wind goes from complete calm, to, a microburst of between 75 and 100 miles an hour in a matter of seconds. It completely trashes any umbrella made of wood.

I love the romance of wooden umbrellas, with wooden ribs and a wood pole and natural fabric. However, the truth is, if the wind catches it and spills it on its side, the wood ribs will always break. I have had a microburst snap off a two inch thick solid wood pole.

Although this is made of extruded aluminum (that is the pole and ribs are not solid aluminum) they are designed to withstand the snap pressure at the stress points.

The cranking mechanism is not high quality, but, it is adequate and it is more convenient and sturdy than a pull cord design.

The color is beautiful. Although this is olefin (not natural material) it looks just like woven canvas. It has a nice texture, and, I bought the terra cotta which is just beautiful.

If you live in any significantly windy conditions, this is the umbrella to try.

QUICK TIP:

This actually took off one blustery afternoon. I found it about 100 feet away, having dropped on its side. It survived. (A point in its favor).

Not wanting to spend another $100.00 on a new umbrella, I decided to pro-actively bolt the umbrella base to the deck. I had my goundskeeper actually bolt it through the redwood 2/4's on my deck. Even in the worst wind it has not blown away again (or been turned inside out or otherwise damaged by the wind) (another point in favor of this umbrella).

If you are having problems with windy conditions, keep away from rounded umbrella bases. They are almost guaranteed to give you the worst possible protection in windy conditions. Your best bet is a heavy iron large square base.

First you get the fancy mobile that matches your nursery, and then you get the mobile that actually entertains your kid. At least that's what I did!

After tiring of our wind up mobile (that only lasted a few minutes at most) I wanted to splurge a little bit for a mobile that would last a little longer and keep my son's attention at bedtime. I already had the Luv U Zoo floor gym (which my son loves) so I figured I'd give the mobile a chance too.

There's a lot to like about this mobile... First off, it's not wind up. Press the red bird on the machine, or the remote, and it seems to run about 20 minutes. There are 3 music settings, and they are all fairly pleasant. I like the nature setting which has crickets, etc playing over very soft music. The other two settings have two different types of tunes (higher and low energy songs) which are nice too and preferred by my husband.

There's not much to write home about on the mobile itself, there are four simple stuffed animal cut-out things... it would have been better if there were the actual animals rather than flat depictions. On top of that, the animals are hung vertically... so you can see what they are if you're looking at it from the side. But from the angle of the baby, looking up from the bottom, all you see is the flat bottom of each one... they all look the same and not terribly interesting. My son watches it, but it doesn't keep his attention for long.

I think it I were to buy a mobile again, I'd take a harder look at the ones that have some more interest--like objects that are full and colorful, and hung from an angle where the baby can see. I would also look at those ones with projection, which seem like they'd be great in a darkened room (when it would be harder to see just the regular mobile).

All that said, this is a solid mobile with cute colors and appealing music. I'm sure we'll continue to use it for the music after we have to take the mobile portion off (that can be removed when baby is older, so you can just do the sounds).

Now that's he's 4 months old he rolls over and notices the base a lot as well! Not only is it cute and decorative, but my son loves it!

I paid almost as much for this as I would have had to pay in the store, and it has never worked since the day I installed it. I kept thinking that maybe it needed to be in awhile and the bad taste would go away, but it has not. Once in awhile it tastes better for a glass or two, but most of the water and ice are terrible. I had a filter in that came with the refrigerator for two years and never had any bad ice or water, and ever since I changed to this one it has all been bad, so there must be something wrong with the filter. It is supposed to be the exact filter that came with my fridge when it was new according to the website, but it does not work the same. I am not entirely sure if it is even new, perhaps they are recycled or maybe it was just defective, but it is too difficult to try to fix it through the internet and the mail, so now I will be forced to go to the local store and buy another after just paying for a new one. If I were you, I would just get your replacements at a local store, if it doesn't work right, at least you can take it back easily and exchange it. I will not order one this way again, I will use a hardware store or department or appliance store.

This filter lasted about 7 months for our family of four. It provides crystal clear and very good tasting drinking water. It's very quick and easy to replace and it can be done in about 30 seconds. The only down side is the cost is a little on the high side and this filter only removes 4 different contaminants. I pay a few more dollars now and get the PUR 4396710 that removes 12 different contaminants including harmful substances like lead, mercury, asbestos. If you want good tasting water then this filter will do the trick. If you want good tasting and healthy water then get the PUR 4396710.

This is by far the best bed frame I have ever owned. It actually saved my mattress. My previous setup included a framed on wheels, a box spring, and a mattress. With this bed, i was able to get rid of the box spring and frame and it added so much more support to my mattress (my old box spring was giving out). Whoever does the marketing for these beds should be fired. The pictures do it no justice and there is only one picture for the frame even on other websites, but it looks so much better in person.

Also it is not possible to see the "platform" from the one picture provided. This bed is actually 2 pieces. The first is the chrome frame, the second is the platform that just drops down into the frame. This platform is metal square tubing with rounded corners and about 28 wood slats (14 on each side of the center metal support beam). These slats bow up slightly so when you look at the platform it has a shape like a lower case m, but when you place a mattress on it they flatten out.

As previous posters have said, this bed and the box it comes in is HUGE!. I would say the box is about the size of a 6 inch thick King Size Mattress. It is also very heavy (150+ LBS) and since I live in a 3rd floor apartment, it was a struggle to get it upstairs.

Pros:
- Very Sturdy
- Quality build
- Very Good to look at
- Amazon once again gave me the best price around
- Looks like it will last for years

Cons:
- Delivery can be a hassle due to weight and size
- This is not delivered by UPS/Fed ex, because of its size, it was sent to my region by CEVA Logistics and then delivered by forward air, this made it hard to track
- As another review said, My bed arrived with some scratches as well, but there is no way I am going to repackage this thing and send it back
- Picture lies, it does not show the 4 legs that will run down the center and along the base of the platform (you can't use all the space for storage)
- Very heavy (this might not be a con as it gives stability to the bed)

This item is even nicer than it seems in the picture, I love my new bed and it even came with the nice wooden slats (the ones that flex). Be careful though, make sure that you measure everywhere so that you can be sure that the frame can fit up the stairs or in your elevator. The frame is one solid piece and very big. But once its all set up it is great!!

The bed looks great and is very solid. More storage space below the bed than normal. Arrived with scratches on headboard and frame. The seller definitely took their sweet time getting things packaged and ready to go. They decided not to pack the item until I had confirmed the delivery date. Why would they do that? I already paid for it! Then, I received an email stating which company they would use to deliver my bed. The actual company that contacted me for delivery was completely different. Delivery company was incompetent, UPS-Ground! Information was mixed up and lost several times. I missed 2 days of work to wait around for the bed. It arrived at the end of the day, late in the evening. Only person to apologize for the company's mistakes was the driver, who had no idea of the arrangements that were made between the office and I. Driver left immediately after dropping off package in my garage. I noticed some scratches on the bed frame and headboard when I opened the boxes up. It's been too much of a hassle for me to try and return it for another one. I can't miss any more days of work.
